Thanks SilverSurfer!! I tried your fix, but still shows the hidden code in Active Topics.. I think that fix will work if you have installed the workaround. I like to use the code. Yes you are right. The fix works only with the workaround but you can try this instead:

Hi Game Loader Master! hmmm... a brand new hack... well, i'm actually busy with moving our board from 6.05 to 6.10. I've some hacks to convert to the new 6.10 and as the new UBB version is very different from the old 6.0x verions i have to check every sourcecode file... a realy boring job...  I don't think that i have enough time left to do a new hack... sorry, but not at the moment. As soon as i have done all the convertings for the hacks i will post them here at the board. Thankyou for the great hack E@sy And Silversurfer ! works great ! I found a small bug when a user as a name that start with ** like: **User** In that case the tread get currupted  I had to manually change all my member display name that had name like that to prevent to happen again......apart of that is great ! Is there any chance to fix that problem ? thankyou Overflow !

For me it seems that this is not a Hide Message Bug. I think it is a "normal" UBB bug. Did you test it on a plain UBB installation? Or only on a hacked board? Cu, SilverSurfer PS: Thx for the reply!

i tested on a relly heavily hacked ubb and on a fresh one both time got hte error with **names. I try to apply the ban user name hack to avoid name starting with ** but that hack go crazy if i try to ban ** I think is a ubb Bug to at this stage. BTW the hack works like a charm i applied the e@sy plus the 2 page modification and your workaround and is great Overflow

Thanx e@sy, Silversurfer, and Astro 23 ... I applied this hack on my board UBB6.04d:
1- at the beginning, the hack was e@sy's it showed the hide button but didnot work,
2- Then I applied SilverSurfers workaround , and the hack worked, but didnot show the messages on the 2nd page.
3- At last I've found Astro23's 2.nd page bug fix ,all working fine at the moment.

Let me answer a view questions here... @BlackDeath-: I've just uploaded a complete description for the hide message hack for UBB 6.1.0 public beta 1.1 Hide Message Hack V 1.1a and Hide Message Hack V 1.1b These 2 versions contain the whole hack based on e@sy's V1.0 beta version corrected by my workaround for the cache and the additional 2 page correction from Astro 23. These links are ONLY for the UBB 6.1 xxxx. They are NOT for UBB 6.0x !!! There will be an update for the UBB 6.05 with all the corrections a.s.a.p. @nex-: I've applied the hide message hack on our own UBB 6.05 board. So for now you can apply e@sy's base version and than my workaround and after that Astro23's 2 page correction. As i worte above there will be an updated "how to do the hack" for UBB 6.05.
