Very cool Cal! I agree with Allen, I get a bunch of those "were did my post go" mails so this will be great!

Thanks!

What exactly is a "soft moved" topic?

I think `soft moved topics` are topics that are moved and closed, rather than moved and deleted.

Has anyone implemented the PM bit yet ? If so, could you tell me how please ?
Thanks ! smile

this would be more or less useless IMHO, because how many members turn the "notify by mail on new PM's" off? in my board i know none, by sending a pm you will get an email anyway, and then some of them may try to reply to the PM's

but other then that, thats a very useful hack, thanks

Cal,
I have this in MultiHack .mhk format if you would like it for release. I can email it to you so you can verify it and make sure it is up to your standards before having Allen link it in the new Multihack section. I know it is a simple hack but it might make it a little easier for some. email@snipersparadise.com

snip1er, if cal OK's that, you can also send me the file and I will update the MHK page here at UBBDev with the MHK file. Allen tends to be busy, then again so am I, but... less than Allen I think. heh smile

God those UBB guys just don't give me any rest, Takes months to get my forums to where I want them and just when 6.04e looked like a good version then 6.04f comes out and now 6.05 - FFS bloody InfoPop =).

Can this hack be updated or improved so it just leaves an automated message as the last post in the topic once moved? Automated E-Mail and PMs just waste CPU time on big forums, a simple post reminder will suffice.

No way I'm moving to another UBB version =), taken 4 months off my life upgrading all the hacks and my own private improvements.

I tried changing that line of code, but it still wont work, i'm still getting the same error when i try to move a topic . . .

Do any of you think you could look at my files, the ones needed to move a topic and tell me what's wrong . . . i don't know what's wrong and I can't figure it out . . .

Mark 99, start using MultiHack by Troy (see above). When a new version of UBB comes out, I can reinstall all my hacks (around 15), upload the files, and be fully upgraded in about 10 minutes, depending on my computer and my connection. Simple push button upgrades that turn days into seconds...Troy is my HERO! laugh

Can someone please update the MHK file available in the UBB database? I just installed this hack on my registered 6.05 and I had to make the above change due to that same error.

Otherwise THANKS FOR THE GREAT HACK!
