this hack allows Admins to register new users from the control panel, even if registration is closed. when you register them, you may also select to give the new user permission to private forums, as well as having their registration information emailed to them.

file updated to version 1.1
to update from last version simply replace the big section you added in cp_users.cgi with the new big section. you can now modify user permissions when you add the user.

Nice work! I think that infopop should add this feature to UBB. It comes in handy for private boards.

looks like a bad cut n paste maybe. make sure that the stuff you added to cp.cgi was all pasted in fine.

I tried it about 5 times now and still can't sort it.

I paste it in formatted exactly as it appears in the text and get the same error.

Yes mate -

this is the first hack I've installed for about 4 weeks

To tell you exactly what I've done yeah, when i click on your link to the hack, it appears in IE. I copied and pasted the whole lot into wordpad.

Then opened each of the 3 files in wordpad and copy and pasted the code in.

I'm sure I haven't done anything wrong hopefully laugh ), been adding ubb hacks for nearly 2 years now

Jordo I need help with this hack !
the cp registration works great with no error what so ever
is when i tick on the email part that is giving me error when i register a new member.

i get a undefine subrutine error on line 1301 in cp_user.cgi

wich is showing as:

[code][/code]If a remove that part of the code that is causing the error ( &set_page_elements; )
i don't get any error using the email notification but no email get sended out !?!?!

now i have a working cp registration but i have to send the email manually to new member frown

can you help me out ?
