The Quick Answer Form Beta.

This hack was popular at UBB 5. Now it's converted and made for UBB 6.all versions including 6.04. Written by rav3n, now I'm upgrading it for codebuttons and correcting some bugs. Current version is beta 1.15.

Mod Name: The Quick Answer Form 1.15
Author: rav3n - [email protected] & Alex aka Cooler Way - [email protected].
Description: Under the topic shows the table, where you can enter your message and post it wo linkin' to Add Reply page.
Uncludes: Smile Mod compatible (if it's not installed, doesn't show any quick smilie add), Form Hide if registration is required and user isn't registered, Drop Down message icon list, Shows if HTML / UBB code enabled / disabled, Avatar Hack compatible, HAS STANDART CODEBUTTONS PANEL (new!).

Your UBB is really NICE! But since it isnt english i couldnt really understand what the hack does... and those tables are awesome! maybe you should submit those as UBB mods unless it already is...

You can get the mod Quick Answer, like I said, at http://conspiracy2001.wallst.ru/ubb/form.txt , and the second hack you've said about called Split Topics, and it includes glowin' names. You can find it here, but if you want, give me an email and I'll send you.

Now I'm going to adapt it to Wordlets, add Code Button links instead of images, add citing selected text in a topic ([i][/i]), and pbobably add some functions...

add wordlets and an english translation of what you have written

add support for dropdow message icon

what I meant, was have it use the drop down script written by amy. At the moment it doesn't automaticly add the icons you have in your icon folder like amy's hack.

I have around 200 icons and don't want to add them one by one

Chuck wordlets already added. What have I written? You mean comments? Ok, I'll translate them, it's not hard Only icons? And what about descriptions? (I do not know English so as you know, that's why probably I don't understand you).

Now my plans for the final 2 version. Maybe you can help.

1. Compatible with hack Admins can Post HTML (I didn't look, but think it needs this check).
2. Cite the selected text.
3. Aditional check for correcting Your name, .
4. Correcting UBB error: when user doesn't write anything in the prompt window, it adds: [somecode][/somecode] instead of nothing

Ok, if that icon hack installed, what about icon names in the list?

when you install the icon hack, you fill a list giving each icon a name. The trick would be to reuse that name list.

Better idea to output names from name of the current icons (like smile.jpg, wanna_talk.gif, frown.tga) and other.
Ok, I'll try. What's about errors? Anybody knows why it gives an error when using CodeButtons?

look for updates of a hack. an old url.

it's not possible. Remember that all icons in the icons folder have numbers instead of names

I can add smilies, i haven't done it before 'cause i've no time. but gimme lot of time and i'll create english version of this hack with smilies and other kewl stuff.

Hey, everybody, i've solved the problem with changing message icons. Now, browsing the list of icons u can see them near the list just like with smilies list.
I'm still working on the form, so i can't give a link to the final version. And besides the form must be tested heavily, cuz i've encountered some bugs with the process of identifying wheter u logged in or not...

In this version i've added:

• Message icon image near the list
• UBB-code list with image near it
• Some minor code corrections...
