Ok, I have been looking for pms and I noticed my rating. About three weeks ago I had 9 votes which equaled 2.82 or soemthing and now 11 votes later it is the same exact rating.. Is that possible?

You had to be rated a 1 or 2 every time. It is possible though. I can't see your stars though for some reason.  I guess allen has display rating turned off.

I think he is referring to his own UBB.  Ratings are based on a weighted average, taking the voters' rating into account. The new votes may not count much toward your total. Perhaps some of your l-users are messing with you, by registering a new name then voting you a 1  Which is one reason why those who have clout make a difference and those without...don't. -Tacks

Once I had 3 votes and 4.68
Then 5 votes and 4.03, and then I turned it off

I don't think I should turn it on cause I'm a mod here..
Anyway, UBB has an option in the CP to not show ratings that are below 4 stars

I have it set to show only those with good ratings...:) Anyone can turn their own on or off, I turned mine off so as to not tempt a few people

Maybe after someone does a hack that allows you to rate him a 6. Kind of like how an amp that goes up to 11 is louder than one that only goes up to 10. It's one louder -Tacks

UMMM!!! My weighted score is something like 400000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 .. Might wanna check out because that is really weird. I noticed it like 5 minutes ago.

Great, so in a day or so, everyone will be rated in exponential-type numbers.
Since people can also now be rated as minuses, we need a set of Red Star images.
