PEOPLE *.SHW is the ONLY way to fly. I am
very experienced at adding hacks to the UBB
- have even done some custom coding -
but the new Script Hack Wizard makes it so
much easier for adding prebuilt finished
hacks.

public_forum_page.pl (Template)you are having the same problem maurice did yesterday. If you are pretty familure with HTML and tables it is a very easy fix!

Hey freakscene: Just so you know, that hack I posed above really goes in the public_forum_page.pl I just quoted the hack word for word and it was written wrong.  I'll be installing your Hypercells soon, but I think I'm going to upgrade my UBB first.

when i try using sript wizard...at the 4 file it says add text error...
i'm using 6.04c and this happens even if i try using the hack on the original ubb without any other hacks!

Did you point it toward the templates folder then the cgi folder?

When I click on the link and not only in the highlighted are it seems to be recognized as a double-click. (double sound & my hit counter adds 2 hits)

Figured out that it is caused by Internet Explorer 6 Beta - Works fine on IE5
But probably a change is necessary when IE6 turns public

ok when i activate my nwes fader it expands my forum by like 20 pixels..i have it set to 770 pixels and it shouldnt grow larger...but when i turn the fader off it returns to its normal size....i tried to set the width of the fader to a smaller number but it still does the same thing...

FREAK can you help me i seem to have mis read the install but my tables are in the wrong places i mean the highlighting effect on the main UBB page the forum one is fine but the one that is suposed to be in the last post colum isnt htere its on the topics colum???? and in the forums its ok on the last user to post colum but the other one that should be over the topic box is in the message icon box to the left of it???????/ please take a look and tell me what to change GSX UBB

ok i fixed the colums they are in but in the public_forum_page.pl the text in the topic name collum changed to one that is different from the rest of my UBB i checked what i pasted in from the install txt and its correct but that text in that box is different GSX UBB

Okay, I went to install they hack, but I had to do it manually because the code was slightly different.
This is because I have modified it so that the alternating colors change according to row instead of column.
How does this affect the hack, and how should I proceed?

It should work the same, you will just have to play around with the settings in the cp to get the pattern right. Also, you may need to play with the loop that sets the cell background colors (but only as a last resort). You should be fine

i have not fixed the problem
this is what i have found more about it
to me only the topic name box font has changed and the rest are fine
bit to a few others
the entire font everywhere one UBB changed even tho i didnt change the font
before everyone had the same one everywhere
i just dont get it lol

This hack does not affect any font tags... that is strange what other hacks do you have installed on the board?
