I have installed this MOD and it will only show the message after I clear the cache. Installed - cleared cache - had a PM sent to me - no show - cleared cached - notification shows - reply to PM - notification does not show for user - user replies - notification does not show for me - clear cache - it shows Any ideas? my board

i had to shift the $search variable out of the regex itself (ie: i took out the variable out and put the stuff to replace right in the regex) to get it to work...

k, well this hack doesnt work as is with the cacheing system. ive been thinking about ways to redo some of the functions, and hopefully i can figure something out - if thats ok with you e@sy?

Nothing's showing up on my screen  ... no errors though, and everything is hacked correctly... I used to have the 6.05 version and it worked fine.. guess this needs to be looked into some more

just take a look at the code... with cache on theres no way it will work properly. $ThisHTML is not even bound let alone printed if the page exists in cache, so theres no way it can be dynamic unless the cache is off. i have a solution that uses cookies without breaking the cache, but im waiting for a bug to be fixed in the ubb to post it again as it makes a change that makes the bug a big problem.

Hi E@sy, it seems that the .pos files will not be deleted by your hack if a user deletes a message, dunno why! Could you check your code ?

Hrmmm It is working, I guess most of us are use to the older version that it stats when we have 0 mail. Someone PM me today and the Hello XXX, You have 1 PM notice was up. You just see the regular default hello when u dont...

Have you tried using ubb6.1 beta The only way to get it to work is with the cache off.

Just a quick question im asking for a freind as he is driving me mad talking about this stuff, but refuses to ask for help.
is there a way to make this work with the pm center hack for 6.0x
this is a great hack but would look so much better integrated into the board structure.
