I keep getting a popup here saying that. After it pops up I'm able to continue on where i was trying to go in the first place. It usually happens trying to enter a thread from the summary.

It's a Javascript error, from the page reaching it's timeout.

Only happens on slow connections AFAIK.

But LD is correct this time. It's the server. tipsy

It's because it takes 20 secs to load the page sometimes, so the CGI executer gives up.

Ofcourse he is, LK, it IS the server which was a moot statement and obviously the case. wink

To be honest I never noticed that much of a lag loading before I see the popup. I'm multi-tasking most of the time so my observation skill might be a bit impaired.

Making you look wrong is surprisingly easy, LD. Perhaps if you didn't respond to each and every single new topic with a useless reply, we might find that a little harder.

Without knowing what script is causing the out of memory issue, we can't well fix it. The next time this happens, please report the EXACT WORDING of the error message, including the URL at which you received it, and the EXACT ACTION you were performing.

Without that information, we can't look into the problem, no less fix it.

have a ganders at that, I can easily re-create it by making my connection busy (download something) and then goto a non-ubbcached page.

EDIT: either resizing or clicking on a link, will bring up the message box.

The problem happens randomly when I am accessing a "forum" here from the summary page. It is possible of course that it happens at other times but that is the event that I remember most clearly. The exact message I get is the title of this thread and it is in a popup window.

The message box can not be generated by any existing UBB code. We never deliver messages that way.

Tomorrow I'll bump up the max execution time to 30 seconds, but I won't push it any higher.

I've seen it a time or 2 as well (the first image PF posted (thanks smile )). Not sure where it is balking... it's like it renders the page, and as it gets to the last category it times out and does that.
