Great hack, but is there a way to include only certain style options to choose from on the profile page? I have the main stlyes, but then I have 2 different styles for private forums that I don't want to show up on there.
Any help would be appriciated.

LK, please help... Installed this modification again and still no errors (bonus points!) But like my previous post in the user profile all I have under the "my profile" in the templates is options for "none" & "standard", there are no options for colors  Where did I mess up or what should I re-hack? GTS, why would you want to do that? If your members like this scheme, why shouldn't they use it? Also, don't forget if the admins will choose their own scheme, they won't be able to see the 'special' one in that forum/in any forun.

2 Questions I have
When I try to change the template I get a message FYI. Other user change normally the template without having this message. Any ideas?
I also get a None Template in my box. Have I done something wrong?

installed flawlessy, and I'm in the process of building a wide variety of templates for it. My green board has to stay green (or my wife will kill me) but the .org board is gonna be a My Style board for sure.

LK, here's my problem...
I'm trying to install MyStyle (Which by the way is a truly amazing hack). I entered in all the code in EXACTLY as instructed. I went to ultimatebb.cgi on the server and It gave me a million and one errors. Here are the errors...
Global symbol "%vars_chat" requires explicit package name at /home/sites/site88/web/ultimatebb.cgi line 36. syntax error at /home/sites/site88/web/ultimatebb.cgi line 45, next char @ Global symbol "@tempprofile" requires explicit package name at /home/sites/site88/web/ultimatebb.cgi line 45. Execution of /home/sites/site88/web/ultimatebb.cgi aborted due to compilation errors.
I went back and removed all the code the file told me to enter in, re-upped the file, and everything worked (Except MyStyle).
Can anyone offer assistance? I run UBB 6.1.0.3...

Chuck, I think I responded the question many times, while in one of the last ones I've posted a way to do it...
It shows ALL schemes, because I think this hack changes the purpose of schemes. Why do you want to hide a scheme? Anyway, just look for the fix in one of these posts if you wish.

ok thanks Hidding a style would be usefull If I am working on a style and I don't want people to use it yet or have a style for a single forum which can't be reused. thanks for the fix I wasn't sure if the other one had been included in the code or not.

Because that is the only code I changed in ubb_lib_files.cgi and that's where I'm getting the error.

Im having a problem when display categories only is set to on. the problem is with the code that is added to ubb_forum_summary.cgi.
when cat only is on. the cache files are as follows:
summary.html - standard (no mystyle) summary of the categories list.
summary-1.html - standard (no mystyle) summary of category 1...
the problem occurs when a user with mystyle template 1 views (for the first time after a cache clear) the main summary page, this creates the cache file summary-1.html, but this file is the main listing with template one, not the listing of category one.
this also works in reverse, when a user views forum 1 who does not use mystyle, and then a user using mystyle template 1 views the main summary, they get the summary for forum 1.
seems to be a major problem to me...

Jordo, try to replace '-' with '_' in ubb_lib.cgi and ubb_lib_files.cgi, and then clear your cache.
TXT/MHK files also updated.

This hack lets the user choose which style template he/she wants to see...
For example, you have a red scheme and a blue scheme, and half of your users want the red scheme while the other half wants the blue scheme. The best thing to do is just install this hack, make your favorite/half red + half blue the default and let the users choose from their profile.
