Can you make a self extracting file of it or create a downloadlink for the .txt file?

I can't extract those .ace files and I don't want to install one more pack programm on my hd...

two posts don't list what files to edit:

#1 Post 24 (in all), Page 2, 9th post down, "by posted 12-20-2001 10:03 AM" and posted by e@sy. any ideas where that code is from?

#2 Post 71 (in all), Page 5, 11th post down, "posted 01-23-2002 10:32 PM" posted by SubZero5 or any ideas where this one is from?

ok, here's the deal on the above^^^^

#2 is all done in ubb_statistics.cgi.

two things though...the part where you said th search for, "if ($thisforuminfo[6] eq 'private') { $exact_path .= "/private-$thisforuminfo[7]"; }", which was the first edit in your post, there just happens to be that exact code in ubb_forum_summary.cgi also, so should it be changed there too??

#2 the last edit of your post asks us to look for, "$StatsData{'LastTopicForum'} = $exact_path;", but ubb_statistics.cgi has that twice in the code, so should both of them be replaced??

ok 2 new issues!

1st: No matter how many posts are in my hidden forum it still says 0 and 0 for posts and topics. what could that be?

2nd: i can make new posts but when i try to post a reply to any of the topics in the hidden forum, i get this error: An error has occured:

Tried to open zero sized thread 000010 in forum 14 at /mnt/web_a/d02/s22/a0008whv/cgi-bin//ubb_lib_files.cgi line 770.

Any ideas would be great. this is the only other bug i have on my board so i really would like to fix it.

Will this hack be integrated in 6.3.0 ?

too bad this hasn't been ported to 6.2+ yet.. It's definitely a wanted feature that I'm sure alot of people miss from 6.1 and before.. Thanks to e@sy for the making it happen, and to everyone else involved in the upcoming release..

I have used the catagory hide hack for 6.3 from the 6.3 forum and removed

my @valid_html = &determine_html_templates;

it seems to work with 6.2 perfectly its not quite the same as the old hide hack but its better than a kick in the teeth thanks LK

I just can't wait for the old forum hide based on user cp to come out.. I'd think it was important enough to be a top level mod, but I guess it's not that important to keep forums totally invisible from possible hackers or people asking for access.. 'til then, thanks to all involved!
