Well hello everyone this is my first hack I hope you will all enjoy it !!

Description: It a thinking clock ( witch mean it show your time whatever time zone your in ) under Hello ( log out )

Demo: Here

Download: Here ( upgrade with another scirt working a time format of 24h )

The 24h time format don't auto upgrade like the other one in AM/PM format. And it also doesn't show the secondes. Working on it.

Only probleme knowed is that it doesn't work with the New Fader Hack. I'd like someone to test the 24h format script with the New fader hack please !

Any probleme post them here I,ll try to help.
I didn't do that hack I just simply adapt it for 6.1

Outstanding....

Edit; can you make it dual time so that it also shows the server time?

Why can't you find it in the taskbar? I made a hack (actually just copied something from a site ) that uses the server's timezone, but it took too much cpu/ram so I removed it.

I was hoping for a clock hack, thank you!

Easiest one I ever installed thats why I can't figure out why the time dosn't show but only Current time is:

I rehacked, cleared cache, nothing

Ideas? I'm running 6.1.0.3

If it doesn't show I think it because of the javascript. Might be working only on internet explorer. Let me check this.

That was my problem the first tie too. You have to wait a relatively long time for it to show up the first time.

Do you have other javascript on that same page? It could be interfering...I had to turn off my ever-so-pretty snowflakes so this would kick in. *shrug*

Dont want to seem pushy, but the rest of my board is in 24hour clock mode.
Any chance you could give me a code to change it to 24 hours?

Yup, just as the snowflakes killed News Fader, but I liked the snowflakes better

I guess I'm not sure how to run multiple scripts on the same page then. . would you have to include them all inside the same script tags? Or would that then break the code?

If multiple scripts use the onload command they will kill each other. You can use one onload to load multiple scripts though.

I would say use one of the clock swf files on flashkit. They are tiny, nifty and small (3k etc)
And you can modify the output and layout so that it match with your design.

Okay, i have a script for displaying server time, and it's .cgi. It's meant to be used with an exec cgi="blah blah" but I can't get it to display. How can I get the output of this cgi script to display in the forum summary?

I agree, after running it for a day or so, my users are asking for the server time for point of referance when posts were made, etc. Anyway to get it to display server time? and date ?

Thanks

I'm working on it. I got the clock to display but not with any control of how it was displayed and no ticking seconds. I can get it to pop-up a little window with the server time easily.
