Finaly somebody made this hack for ubb 6.1.x  I think i will port this up to 6.2 tonight. I was waiting for this hack to be ported up to the 6 series.

and after that, there is code, but from or into what??

Tim, it should work with 3 line changes. No big deal and it should not be considered for a new topic hack.

I did not know that the hack was made by somebody else for UBB 5. this is a new hack that I made. The only help I had was with the view_counter hack and that by having the control of the hack to be done through the CP.

Good job, I'll probably install it in a board I maintain. BTW, Greg told Tim this hack will work with 6.2.0 with 3 modifications, he wasn't talking to you

The copy/paste from the textfile makes ugly code. The deleteaction after installing gives a blanc page.

Only three lines of changes even better. I figured there would be more than that but i realy haven't had time to look at this hack. I never said i was gonna release it. I was gonna port it up becuase my board is 6.2.

Yeah it works great but it would be beter if you put all the variables together.
I don't like to move around multiple pages to change one feature.
Right now I've adapted it so all settings can be set from Misc. Than the other admins on the board wil get a better idea of how it works too.
But once again a great job

Just a thought, is there any way to exclude forums from this hack. Now all the private forum topics are transferred into the recycle bin too  How can I exclude these forums from this hack?

If you mean that in one forum if you delete a topic or a replay you do not want to send it to the recycle bin it is easy to do that :
Let us say that you want to exclude forum number 11 from this hack all you need to do is
[code][/code]Where 11 is the forum you want to exclude from the hack

ok..i got the hack up and working... just 1 question.. how do i delete all post in the recycle bin? i've already got over 200 topic in the recycle bin.. and it would be a pain to individually delete them one by one.... thanx
