This doesn't work with the WOL PHP version, I can't find anything similar.

You left out 2 "align="left" which makes the wording centered.

Fixed. Yes this only works with the cgi version of whosonline. I will see about making a php edition tonight for thoose of you that want it.

otherwise download multihack and see if there's a multihack file for it

nope... the ssi is only needed if you want WOL in the rest of your website...
just ignore the ssi part

WOL = Who's online
SSI = server side include, which basically means you can stick something dynamic into an otherwise static page
