After I re-upload my ultimatebb.cgi I get an internal 500 error. How can I fix it?

Make sure you upload it in ASCII mode. If or some reason the permissions were changed, change 'em to whatever they are supposed to be(it's in the UBB docs). Yeah I know... a lot of help. but...

hmm in regards to #3, Allen try editing this post:

and see if the smilies are converted back to ubbcode. im using the same routines as when editing a post (to convert smilies) but it doesnt seem to get them...

You're right, it's the XHTML compatibility thing...

'tableWidth' should be 'TableWidth'. 'bbName' should be 'BBName'. I think in the first time 'bbName' appears, there should also be tag.
I think there should be more spaces between catname to >>.
It doesn't show date in registration.
From: shows up even if the field is empty.
There is no title.
There is no charset.

Zip updated with those fixes. reupload public_print_page.pl and ubb_print_topic.cgi seems the xhtml-izer got a little over-zealous

The output under Netscape is not really printer friendly. Seems to still table all the text in a left justification. Any ideas?

This is supposed to be a feature in UBB 6.2 as well. Dunno how different or at all it will be than this hack though.

I am not woried as Jordo has proven himslef more then once and I am sure will be able to resolve the minial issue. I am at a point where I can not go to 6.2 for vaious reasons.
