Same as the 6.2.x version i posted last night, just with some minimal changes to work with 6.3.x This mod allows you to ignore (hide) all posts by any user by clicking a link in their profile. You may then remove them from your ignore list by editing your profile. Uses JS+cookies www.jordodesigns.com Or direct link here

I have this installed and I don't have anyone to put on ignore yet....grrrr, this is too much fun not to use it.

I never took our users that seriously when they said "it would be handy to be able to hide yyy's posts!"
Maybe I should try taking it back to 6.05 just to please a few.
I presume it doesn't keep the alternating post colours in line though?

OK, I love this hack...
However...a couple bugs that my users have found:
1) You can ignore yourself. Seems silly, I know...but you might want to deal with that.
2) How do you take someone OFF of your ignore list?

another bug...
any unregistered users post is automatically hidden to everyone, noticed it when someone new posted a reply that was not registered and could not find his message and then loged out myself to post and would show that I posted on the forums but not the actual message when you clicked on the topic.

Mugsy Malone - Edit your profile, and at the bottom you will see a new field: "Post Ignore List". Click on the name of the user you wish to remove from your ignore list to remove them.
