Shortly after the 6.1.0 final release, out comes a new version with fixes to many problems that seemingly slipped through the first time around.

Among them, here are a few of the more important changes:
  • UBB Accelerator no longer dies on some PHP version with illegal / unexpected character errors
  • UBBs on Win32 no longer die with "Expected to write out ???? bytes, but file on disk is only 0!"
  • Added checks to ensure profile deletion completes

But since those are only a few of the fixes addressed, go
read the official press release now.

Not to be diminished by a new release is the news of an addition to our already strong UBBDev team! Tony Rickard ( Vipermad ) has been brought on board to help maintain our Database , and also to provide user support in the v5 forums. Join us in welcoming him! smile

More exciting news is word of our upcoming Mega Member Spotlight vote next week. We have some great prizes in store for that, so stay tuned during the coming week for more information.

I have only one hack installed, the custom titles and rank hack. Will upgrading to the new version erase that or change it in any way? I want the new version, but forumers will riot if they lose their titles and ranks. Totally riot.

Upgrading always removes hacks.

Use BeyondCompare - http://www.scootersoftware.com/

smile

All 6.1.0 hacks should work fine in 6.1.0.1 and the upcoming 6.1.0.2 without anything more than a little modification (for line numbers)
