On our bulletin board, the New Post icons that turn red when a new message has been posted since your last visit are suddenly not working properly. When I post a test message, it shows up for a few minutes as a red folder after I check in, but then after that does not work (and I haven't opened the actually post yet). Others have tested this on other machines (at least 4 users) and they do not see the folder turning red at all, even though it has been a few days since they visited the bulletin board.
Please help! I searched everywhere for online resources on how to address this, but cannot find a darned thing

It is installed on our intranet. We are using version : Powered by: Ultimate Bulletin Board (UltimateBB), Version 5.44b
How do I post a screen shot to this forum? (I know how to get a screen shot already)

1. Upload the image file to your server. Please keep it under 100k.

2. Copy the image URL to the clipboard by hitting CTRL+C.

3. Look underneath "Instant UBB Code", where it says "URL". Click the "URL" button.

4. At the prompt, hit CTRL+V and then press "OK". Then enter a name for the link, and hit "OK" again.

5. Done.
