what files do i edit to edit like which order my avatar posts and register date goin and stuff like that

Everything that affects the look of your forums will be in the /noncgi/Templates directory.

Not necessarily everything. There are times where you have to edit the CGI files to make things the way you want it.

Did you even click that link? Because if you would've clicked that link, you'd see that public_topic_page.pl is the file for the posts. Yes, they're like HTML, except for the fact that they can pull in dynamic items.
