It may say noobie under my user but that doesn't mean i am a dumb @55...I searched for this in this forum before asking...and didn't find it...so I will post this here...while I search the rest of the forums it could be in!!!
Is there a hack or how can I remove the Confirm Email address under the registration page???
I am also looking for how to remove the publicly displayed name so that members can just use the name they signup with!!! These two objects are so rediculous its pathetic!! Although I understand how the publicly displayed name could save on server space!!

You CAN turn off Public Display Names in your profile...

go to ur CP >> Miscellaneous Settings >> Permit Users To Modify Publicly Displayed Names? >> and select the options you want.

For removing the confirm email, you would have to edit the public_register_page.pl and MAYBE there would be some cgi hacking involved as well...
