is there any way that I can take out (or delete) the my profile | register | search | faq | forum home links at the top along with the bbtitle.gif? I want to customize my board & just put the links in the header.

I was able to do with this with version 5, but version 6 is alot more difficult to read the scripts. frown

That line is created in ubb_lib.cgi. Look for $MainButtons. It's safe to delete the main portion of it (everything between the "qq~ ~;"), but leave the actual blank variable ("$MainButtons = qq~ ~;" or something like that)there, because it will cause errors otherwise. Removing it that way will remove the actual links, but the table that surrounded them will still be there. However, that's the easiest and fastest route.

The other way is to actually remove the references to that variable in about a dozen different template files, which will take you a little bit longer.

I'm planning to put out a tutorial concerning this question and several others that get asked a lot, in this month's issue of the U-Zine, which is due out on the 25th, if all goes well. So if you want more specific instructions, wait till then. smile Hope this helps, though.
