need help ASAP!

i just opened my board & when people register, its not sending them their passwords. why is this happening? how do i fix it? i need help quick cuz people need their passwords.

Might be a problem in your files. If they are members just tell them their passwords Via the CP or turn off email Verdication.

Make sure you have the location of your 'sendmail' right.

i told them to go to lost password until i get this problem fixed, cuz it sends it from there.

isnt this supposed to be the sendmail location? "/usr/sbin/sendmail"

Sendmail locations vary from server to server. If your host has a FAQ page about their servers, the sendmail location will most likely be listed there. If not, email your host and ask where the sendmail is.

ok, i checked the FAQ on my host & i have the right sendmail location.

but now my members are saying that its sending their passwords now, so i guess it must have fixed itself or somethin.

thanks for tha help. hopefully it will keep working right. wink

It may have been as your mail server was busy or down that day.
