Anyone have their members complain about the UBB NOT displaying or displaying improperly if they try to view it with Netscape 4.xx is this a known problem and if so what is the fix..... http://206.96.86.95/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi Displays perfectly in IE or Netscape 6 but not the 4.xx versions

I don't think Netscape 4.x Can View UBB's.

Check your html code... you're probably missing some closing table tags. UBB™ displays just fine in all NS 4.x versions if the code is correct.

After checking, it appears you're missing the 3 ending table tags following your bottom banners. (IMHO you don't need the beginning table tags, you could just center the banners.) I'm viewing the page with NS v4.5.

Deb thanks for the prompt response, You are talking about the | tags right? I hadn't placed any of those in the footer info. but I did find some clutter that I removed. Could you look again and tell me if I corrected my problem? I would appreciate it. If not copy the info into here and I will go looking for it. thanks again!

Hi El_Jefe, whatever you did... did not fix the NS problem. I really didn't DIG into the code.. but by adding 2 closing table tags, | , to the source code it made everything appear. You can add them after the banners if it's not too much trouble... even though you've removed the table tags from those banners.. there must be a few other open table tags in there. This is really just a quick fix and should work, as I can view in NS 4.5 when I add them.

One more thing... I believe this is problem is only occurring on your main forum page as well as the category pages. I've gotten into the forums and threads with NS4.5 and can view the posts.
