For one, I suggest you upgrade to either ubb 6.05 or wait a bit till 6.1 is out and upgrade then. 6.0 is very unstable. Alot of security and bugfixes since then.
Check your Date Wordlets for your problem you explained.

What UBB version are you running? Are you on a 6.0? If you are upgrade!
