That is because in public_topic_page.pl and ubb_lib_posting.cgi there are places where they are the code:
& n b s p ; (without spaces)...
Search through both file for $Edit_Link. And around the one in ubb_lib_posting look in each variable that is like that and remove the code:
& n b s p ; (without spaces)...
inside the variables to get it to work.
If still some spaces. Look in public_topic_page.pl and you should find all the variables and a couple & n b s p ; tags. Delete them. Once again look for $Edit_Link.
