Whenever I try to add a reply or new topic I get this error:

Can't open: Permission denied at /home/melee2/public_html/ubb_new_reply.cgi line 423.

For help, please send mail to the webmaster ([email protected]), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

It says that when you try to add a new topic too! only the file is ubb_new_topic.cgi instead.

I looked at line 423, and the error line for the new topic one, and both are the same:

the bold print is the error line.

Anyway ideas? i have everything chmod correctly. CGI to 755, Vars to 777.

ok it didnt bold, but the middle line is the error line.

AN update on the problem: It still posts the message even tho that error message comes up! I dunno wahts wrong, is it CHmod wrong?

re-chmod the files and post again if you have the same problems.

Did you 'chmod -R' your Members directory?
