Apparently no one ever answered this one. I have the same question. I'd like to integrate the registration from UBB and our Swap Meet together so that our folks only have to register once. Has anyone ever done this hack? Know what's involved? I have some ideas, but I'd like to hear from someone who's BTDT.

Well... If you are experienced with the language you are going to use, you could get it to read the information from the member files; it shouldn't be too difficult to do (since it's all plaintext).

I can hack around in Perl all right. Just thinking about the process, ISTM the best way to go about it would be to create a registration script that was separate from both programs and then feed the results to the programs, but I'm not sure of all the details. I've been studying the UBB registration stuff, and it's fairly complex and generates HTML in several places if information isn't filled out correctly (lot of error checking going on.)

Maybe the best thing to do would be to get the data, then feed it to each script sequentially, and let the programs handle the rest.....

Has anybody actually done or even tried this?

What would probably be easiet to do would be to use the UBB to register in all cases, but get the registration information from the member files.
