Aplogies in advance for a long post but if anyone knows the answer its gonna be here I get it!

Hi, I have been running various version of UBB for a year. I upgraded to 6.04 a while ago and got a few hacks into it. Its working great and the community is building well.

I plan to get it even more interactive with the site and linking it to a members area, gallery, posting lists of members - link them to individual profiles, guestbook, polls etc, etc. Is there any UBB which already has this done? (apart from here! ). It would be great to see other ideas and examples. I have searched often from links off this site but although I see some really good ones I can't find any that really make the full use of building a BIG community.

If I upgrade to 6.1 will I lose all my existing hacks (probably a yes :rolleyes: )? Should I upgrade. . . ?

But most important - I use a Mac (OK, stop laughing - you KNOW its because we just hate Bill ) and I REALLY want one of those cute programmes that upload and strip hack code automatically and I wonder if one exists?

planetplastica.com and aliensoup.com do a good job of it, check both of them for examples

You should wait until 6.1.0 is released before upgrading, they are still doing some major work in the guts of it, will be nice when done

I'm not sure what kind of program you are talking about, lil more info?

As for the program - it is that gizmo that controls hacks by automatically placing the code and/or can remember what goes where so you can strip it out again leaving the original code untouched and lists/stores the code. I am sure I saw mention of this on this site in some of the forums but assumed it is pc only and not for Mac. However, I might have got the wrong end of the stick though. . . :rolleyes:
