I'm new to this side of the UBB. I'm not an admin anywhere yet, but it's a good possibility that I will be, and I'm looking into some stuff to improve a UBB where I'm a moderator. Plus, when I get money (and a computer of my own again), I'd like to get a UBB of my own for a project I've been working on.

Where exactly do I get hacks?

What makes the browser scroll down to your reply after you post?

Can post count be frozen for certain users, much as you can go in and change post count? Post count and rank seems to be a hot issue for some, and reducing or crippling the post counts of some is something I've seriously thought about.

Can sigs be disabled for particular boards? There are boards that I see where there's no real reason for users to have sigs.

If I have more questions, I'll end up asking. I'm pretty sure I will..

Well let me see you will have to read alot about it to know these things lol but the ubb does it all on it's own install it all in the right directorys and it works itself well not really of course mods and maintenence and **** you can ban sigs but not for forum uless you disalow the [img] code in them maybe you just have to try stuff and check out the hacks that they have here to see if they have what you are looking for.

1.You get hacks from the Database and Hack forums..

2.This is the Anchor hack that does that.

3.The post counts don't change in every thread automatically after you post, You need to update them.

4.Yes, it can be turned off in the CP.

For post count, I meant freezing it so it doesn't change for certain posters. A kind of deterrent if you will. I figure that if post counts can be altered, why not make it unchanging?
