im helping redesign a board for a friend & when I add/update forum names or whatever, it doesnt save the info. what is wrong??? could a file be chomoded wrong? let me know ASAP!

try the clear cache button, its in the maintainance menu in the control panel...i hope it works GL.

Make sure your variable files (vars_*.cgi) are CHMOD'd to 777.

ive done that.
is there anybody that could just go into the FTP & fix whatever is wrong? i need help quick & infopop wont help me cuz there is hack(s) installed. so my ass gotta come here & WAIT for somebody. i dont understand enough to fix it quickly....

also: when i sign-in now, it says "member not found" or "we have no one registered with that name" - what is that about? how do i fix it?

maybe im complaining alot, maybe im very impatient right now, but damn, there are thousands of members on here, i would think somebody could respond quickly.
im trying to fix the board before people start getting madd at me for taking so long.

6.05 http://www.dpgc-2g.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi all hacks have been taken out (original files put back in) ive emailed infopop again, hopefully they will help me soon. but ill take anybodys help right now. it says registered members : 0
but your member profiles still work... have you tried rebuilding member stats?

i have now  thanks, i finally got it to work. 1 more problem i ran into though. when i try to update my profile, i get "Hack attempt detected and logged." why is it doing this? and how do i fix it???

This means you need to 'bump' up the total member fields permitted in the member files since you previously had a mod that added fields to them (probably the calendar mod)
Easy fix (taken from jordo's instructions) ;)
