If install the WOL hack for Ultimate Bulletin BoardTM 6.1.0 Beta Release 2.1 on Ultimate Bulletin BoardTM 6.1.0 Beta Release 2.1, will i have to remove it so i may upgrade to the next UBB version?

You do not need to remove WOL but you will need to rehack it in after you upgrade to a newer version.
