Hey there. I've got a forum where I want people to be able to post questions, but only qualified members post answers.

I've used the Forum Permissions For This Member section to grant certain members permission to post. The forum allows anyone to post, but only certain members to reply.

Problem is, sometimes the original poster wants to put up a follow-up message to give more detail on their problem or report back on results.

Is there a way to set the forum Permissions so that anyone can post and the allowed members + topic starter can reply?

The forum is at: http://www.fencing.net/cgi-bin/forum/ultimatebb.cgi under the "Armory Q&A" forum.

I imagine it can be done, just hasn't been done yet. You might request it in the "requests" forum for your version of the ubb.
