NEVER mind.. I found it.. I still had an old one.... I think that might not have been the issue maybe.. UNLESS I need to change some setting on it...... OH WELL... I'm about to give up  THANX though !!!!

So it works now?  I was gonna tell you to put the file in your cgi-bin, or wherever your other variables are. If you don't know where that is, put it where your ultimatebb.cgi file is. You also might have to CHMOD it if you're using a UNIX or Linux server.

no it isnt working yet... can you explain the chmod?
Oscar told me last night he uploaded the file...but it didnt help.... I belive unix server..

The way to CHMOD files depends on which FTP program you use. Usually, it involves right-clicking the file and selecting CHMOD from the menu. Or, it might be right-clicking the file, and selecting Commands and then CHMOD.

I read what it can do on the internet...
Right now we cant even get the control panel up.... I just wasnt sure what sytax I was to use for it if any at all....

You had zero-byte vars_display and vars_forums files... I uploaded ones from my backup. Please download your forum as a backup copy until your server can be sorted out...
