OK, I have uploaded a FILE that I need, I think my board will run now if I change the settings to 777... I need to use TELNET to change it, WHEN I upload it with FTP, the settings aren't an option... SO.... CN someone POINT me to a link that explains it or quickly tell me about telnet
SmartFTP, CuteFTP etc... will allow you to select a file/s and change there permissions easily, without having to telnet into your server. otherwise the unix syntax is $> chmod permissions filename.ext
