my host reset subdomains and so the member files and such of my ubb were reset and erased.. leaving me with no access to my own control panel. my ubb is version 5 and it says there is only one member registered, which is the admin account, but i lost the information and can't log in anymore. help?

Hmm, UBB 5.44? If you upgraded to version 5.47e/6 of UBB it would fix many things [ 12-17-2001 12:12 PM: Message edited by: John Round ]

I dunno if it's the same for version 5, but on version 6, in your members dir, there should be a 00000001.cgi with your first member info, which should be your admin... the first two lines give you username and pw, respectively hope it helps good luck

yup, 5.44 .. -_- it's on my friend's server, so i don't have access to the actual ftp anymore. ARGH. i think i'm just going to reinstall a newer version on my own server once i'm on winter break.. thanks anyway for the help.
