How would I accomplisch this?
I need a subforum that only allows admins to view and post the topics?

I'm new but I think I know what your asking.

I just go into the cp, then forum settings. Either create or select the forum and go down to "Access Limits" check the box for:

Restrict Viewing and Writing of Posts To Administrators, the forum Moderator, and other authorized* users

Then you would jsut individually give access to your mods or whoever through cp/members

That's what I thought.

I guess I can't anymore because of some hacks I put on.

Are there any hacks known that make this possible?

So the other hacks you have messed it up so you can't use the normal feature? Can I ask what hack(s) you have?

Also, I don;t know if this will help but in 6.1 Beta area I spotted a new one:
