I hope someone can help me. I am adding more Graemlin's in my Control Panel (I am using version 6.1.0.4), and have followed the directions correctly. The process seems easy enough, but I get this error message:
"chuckle.gif does not exist. Please go back and choose an image that has been uploaded to your noncgi/graemlins directory!"
I DID upload the .gif in the correct directory, and its the same directory the graemelins that UBB came with are stored in.
What could be the problem?

Make sure to upload the image in Binary and not in ASCII. This could be the problem.

I uploaded in binary. I am wondered if I had to add them to a directory called graemlins (within the noncgi directory) and that didn't work either. Anyone??

Yeah, they have to be placed into your graemlins directory, uploaded in binary and are CaSe sensitive when adding them in your control panel. Here's a quote from the control panel: quote:
Please make sure that the image is already uploaded to your graemlins directory in binary. Your graemlins directory is in your noncgi directory. You need no special permissions on these files. There is no need to add a colon ( to either end of the keystroke combination, that is added in for you automatically.

OK... I made the graemlin directory again. Still get the same error.
But I also noticed it says it needs to be in your noncgi/graemlins directory. I do not have a directory called "noncgi". When I installed the software it didn't tell me to create that director. All of my non cgi files are in a directory called UBB. Do I need to create a "noncgi" directory within my UBB directory and place all of my non cgi files in there? Then that would mean I'd have to change th absolute paths too, right. Does this make sense?

The noncgi directory is the directory that your Forum# directories are in.
If there is not a graemlins directory in it, do *NOT* create one.
Instead, reset permissions on the noncgi directory itself, enter your control panel, and use the Upgrade function under the Maintenance menu.
It will create the directory for you.

BUT.. I already created the graemlins directory and my ftp program won't let me delete it... What should I do?
