An unexpected problem in my server caused the following errors on my member files most especially last_number.cgi. This file is probably corupt or it had a change in permissions.

Try registering and see what happens.

As you can see, the Registered members total in the main page is 1938, but the actual count is more than 2922 plus (the last member cgi file is 00002924.cgi).

If you register, your nick will not be displayed as the newest member to be welcomed. It always welcomes member 1937 (test).

Here's what is written on the ff:

last_number.cgi - 2923
last_approved.cgi - 1937
member_total.cgi - 1938

How do I solve this. Please Help.

try to manually edit the number in the last_number.cgi and see if it work

Run a member stat file rebuild in your control panel.
