On our forum a member posted a topic with a "ghost subject". It is unreadable for the other members and also unclickable, so only those who know how to access a topic like that can read or reply to it. I'm not post the code here that i've found when i looked at the sourcecode but my question is if there is a way to block this?
example: http://www.cyberty.nl/cgi-bin/bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=forum;f=1
The person who posted this was surprised because hypercells make those topics readable. But what if you don't have hypercells?
FYI, i've removed the topic that was placed and i have made an example (sticky) topic.

Have you made it mandatory for there to be at least one letter or one number in the subject?

I guess not quasic. But how can this be done? Is it somewhere in the CP? The problem is that there IS code in the subject. Only the ubb generates an empty subject then. I can PM or mail you the code that i've found that the person used to hide the subject.

nm. I found the problem. It's a problem when a user enters type of stuff only in the subject. Here's a workaround: Inside ubb_new_topic.cgi: find: Save and re-upload the file. qasic
