Could you tell us what browsers the people who are having problems are using? It sounds like a browser problem to me, only because I've only heard of UBB messing up cookies about 2 other times.

IE6 has some cookie issues.

Have you placed your UBB in a frameset? Please post the URL to your board...

Hello smile

I am a co-admin of Tony...

I had troubles logging in too (was at first impossable) and found out that I had to lower the "security" level in Internet Explorer (6) from "DEFAULT" to "LOW" to finally be able to login.

When I get online and go to the forum I allways have to login in manually , because the cookie don't work as it should.

Look at my signature for a link to the forum.

Yup, you're using a frame.

Don't. That's why IE6 is being so troublesome.

Thanks Charles for the fast reply!

We'll give it a shot I think, and hopefully it will work at last. tipsy

Could this also be the causing the problem why my "personal pic" don't work since the new UBB version? I can only use avatars now which come with the forum. It used to work in 5.***

smile

Charles how do we "turf-off" the use of frames?

Please explain very detailed so we don't mess up our forum smile

Right now, the link to your forum in your sig goes to a CJB address.

Your UBB is inside a frameset at that CJB address.

Just stop that. wink Make the CJB address not go to a frameset, but to the forum itself.

The cookie problem sometimes continues with IE 6, even without frames.
