ok, complete newbie, just got ubb up and running on my home system last night....

I read the tutorial on baisic hacking, and still have problems...I keep trying the wordlet_mod hack, as many others rely on this to be present, but I keep getting just errors...Im doing all editing in Ultraedit 32, and saving the "hacked files" to thier original dir. (as it is all hosted on my home puter, I have no need to FTP upload) my question is...

when folowing the directions to hacks it says

Find this.....

add this after....

By "after" do they mean same line after, or next line down after??

is there a baisic step I'm missing?? I follow the directions, cut and paste the exact text, and still get just errors

"Find this" means to find the code. If you're using Notepad, press CTRL + F. Then paste in the code you want to find.

"After that add:" usually means the next line. Push enter after the code you found, and paste in the text there.
