Hi all,

Can anyone point me to a fix/hack for 5.44a concerning the following:-

After DNS problems I adjusted UltBB.setup such that it uses my sites IP address rather than it's domain name. I also adjusted cplinks.html accordingly.

I logged into the UBB control panel and ran Update Threads to update all previous posts....this worked fine, except for any post that had smilies in it....they still point using the domain name rather than IP.

Any new posts, or edited posts uses IP for smilies just fine.

PS. You'll notice this UBB has been quite highly hacked as far as user control/links go!

The graemlins are coded in the posts themselves, unfortunately...

There's a set of utils (the Carnell Utilities) that include a global search & replace you can use to fix the URLs... however, I lack the URL.
