I never really used a 6.2.0 but i don't think that comes installed , so you will have to hack it manually

No, you need to upgrade to 6.2.1 for the Poll feature.

Well you download the upgrade zip and follow the instructions from there. If you have hacks and you want to keep them, you'll need the Beyond Compare program to compare the changed files and then upgrade. (Ps. You need 6.2.1.1 because it has an important bigfix in it)
