I just upgraded from version 6.0.4 to version 6.2.1. And after doing so, I am getting errors all through-out the forums. Here are a few of the errors I am getting:
----------------------------------------- Software error: C:/web/cgi-bin/ubb_lib_files.cgi: Missing right curly or square bracket at C:/web/cgi-bin/ubb_lib_files.cgi line 48, at end of line syntax error at C:/web/cgi-bin/ubb_lib_files.cgi line 48, at EOF For help, please send mail to this site's webmaster, giving this error message and the time and date of the error.
An error has occured:
Can't find string terminator '"' anywhere before EOF at C:/web/cgi-bin//vars_mods.cgi line 2. Please inform the board administration of this error so that they may fix the problem. Thank you! ------------------------------------------
I am not sure how to fix the problem. I have already rebuilt the forums twice, hoping that would make it go away. But we are still getting random errors through-out the forums. When posting, changing to another forum, and sometimes when going into the forums main page. I have even gotten SOFTWARE errors when working in the cp.cgi
Well, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

For the first one, try re-uploading a clean ubb_lib.cgi unless you have already installed hacks that modify that file.

I have an error with the cookie.pm file still, after replacing most of the files with fresh copies.
Does anyone have a copy of this file (cookie.pm)for 6.2.1 that I could use to replace mine?
I thought it was all good, until I finally got an error in this file. DOH!

You're on NT and are using the ISAPI DLL - the UBB does not work properly with the DLL.

Ok, so which DLL should I be using? When I was running 6.04 everything was fine. Now that I am using 6.2.1 I have had nothing but problems. http://imagine-nat.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

Sorry, I mistyped -
Don't use the Perl ISAPI DLL. Use the EXE instead...

Ok, but when I have been running UBB for over a year and never had any problems until now. I will try the PERL EXE instead of the driver and see what happens.

Well I switched to the PERL.EXE and it seems to have fixed the problems so far.
*crosses fingers*
Thanks!
