MJ gave me instructions to set this up a good long while ago over AIM, but I have since reformatted and now I can't seem to make it work. So can either MJ or someone else possibly give me the quick rundown on how to make perl scripts execute from any directory under the apache server? I've gone over the Apache/ActiveState docs and faqs and can't seem to make their instructions work. Apache is installed in c:apache, Perl is c:perl, if those matter. And I have the latest version of both. Thanks much.  ---Jamin

Save yourself some time and some trouble and install Perl to c:usr instead of where it is now. That way, Perl will be in c:usrbinperl (#!/usr/bin/perl).
1. Look for this:
[code][/code]Below that will be your Options line for the root dir. Add ExecCGI and Includes to that line. It should look something like "Options ExecCGI Includes".
2. Uncomment this line: "#AddHandler cgi-script .cgi" and then add .pl to the end of it so that it looks like "#AddHandler cgi-script .cgi .pl".
3. Comment out your "ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/" line.
