This is the issue why the board crashes... Plz help me if you guys can , I want to hold on to my board. Can you guys email me [email protected] quote: The "ultimatebb.cgi" hurts the performance and it is very buggy which holds up a lot of the cpu time and resource for doing nothing. Below is the technical details.....
load average: 47.56, 47.70, 47.61 216 processes: 168 sleeping, 48 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped CPU states: 98.0% user, 1.9% system, 0.0% nice, 0.0% idle
The cgi file running this kind of server load is the "ultimatebb.cgi"
The bulletin board seems to take cpu+memory resource and holds the file while running for an infinite amount of time, i had to kill 25 process that was'nt being used yet putting alot of load to the CPU at 75% each! right now at 10:30PM theres about 98 of these that are active and sever is running at 50% its capacity just for this one account alone.

One of things I cant figure out is how to make sure a user is not logged in for so long... if I can make it where a user needs to log in everytime he/she goes to the board.. that might help...

Remove all your hacks, turn off PNTF, polling, all the extra features. Switch into members only mode (so users must be logged in to view the forum)... And turn on the Accelerator if you can.
That will go a long way towards reducing the load.
