hi,
i am working ubb 6.2.1 on Windows 2000 Professional(testing) Windows 2000 Server(production) just tried Latest Threads v2.0.1 ..worked . .
needed to try Latest Threads v1.2.7. . so uninstalled v2.0.1 by removing from ubb_lib_posting.cgi the inserted lines:-
&RequireCode("$vars_config{CGIPath}/ubb_latest_threads.cgi"); &Latest_Threads;
and also removed
/cgi dir/ ubb_latest_threads.cgi (chmod 755) /cgi dir/Latest_Threads/ var_latest_threads_1.cgi (chmod not required) /noncgi dir/Templates/ public_lt.pl (chmod not required)
then installed v1.2.7 by installing according to steps in v1.2.7 lt_install.txt
tested out lt.cgi and got a blank page
is there more to the uninstallation of v2.0.1?
would appreciate any help.
thanks!

hi:),
went into lt.cgi and realised that the following numbers needed to be changed
$filters = 2; @filter_forums = ('1','340','94');
and . . .lt.cgi started showing something!

Why did you go from v2.01 to v1.27? The first version you install is newer. o_O

the 1.2.7 version was set up by the previous ubb administrator to allow web site administrators to be able to display different latest threads for different forum numbers . . like this. .. cgi-bin/lt.cgi?f=forum_number;n=number_of_posts. .ie. .multiple streams?..
. .v2.01 does not seem to do that . . .
. .was asked to look at the possibility of keeping it the same. .
at this very moment i have just finished upgrading to ubbv6.3.0 on my Windows 2000 Professional localhost (PC) and
the installed Latest Threads v1.2.7 does not seem to work . .
is it possible for lt.cgi Latest Threadsv1.27 to work with ubb v6.3.0?
would appreciate any help:)
thanks!
