I am facing a problem in using ubb 5.4.7. Once the total message are over 5000, the search function cannot be performed. When I pressed the search buttom, it only have a blank page. How to overcome such problem?

It is difficult, if not completely impossible to properly diagnose most UBB problems without knowing which version of the UBB you are using, as well as the FULL URL to your Ultimate.cgi, NOT a link to your webpage. Please provide this information. Thanks.

Just in case you are not familiar with the acronym URL, it stands for Uniform Resource Locator. It is a world wide web address such as http://www.yourdomain.com/yourpathtocgi/ultimatebb.cgi

i think the indexfile for your forum 1 is to large. try this mod .

I had upgraded my UBB to 6.2.1 but the search engine still not worked in Forum 1. As per joking-down said the indexfile for your forum 1 is to large. Is there any mod for UBB 6.2.1?
