It doesn't quite work that way - there's a complete set of instructions in the manuals . (Basically, you install a new board first, then copy the data & most variables.)

You can find alternative formats for the manual here: http://www.infopop.com/support/ubbclassic/

And make sure you didn't do it the way I did. (Downlaod all files and upload). Because of your CHmods don't stay which they usually don't you have a helluva lot of Chmodding to do.

LD, ytou will have the same amount of CHmoding in both ways, of course heaven will be if he has a telnet access since it can be done in less than 5 sec smile

No, I had to CHmod all the forum thread files, Member files etc. because when uploaded it reset Chmodding for those auto-chmodded files.

Uh, no.

All files you upload need to have permissions set. There is no such thing as "auto-chmodding"...

Ok, i got all the files moved, and everything seems good except one thing. My 2 main forums (General Chat & Anything Goes) will not show signatures. I checked all the other forums and everything seems to be ok. Checked the cp and everything is good to go. Anyone have any ideas?
