I am having some prats that keep registering at my board and never post, and when i check their profile their e-mail address is something stupid like Is there a way in which I can get their IP (because they never post) and stop them from doing this?

Turn on New Member Moderation because it displays the registration IP # by default.
If you don't have e-mail verification enabled you should consider using that too.

Uh, or just use version 6.1 or higher, which captures the IP...

Line 673 of ubb_registration.cgi as of 6.2.0:

$ipaddy is the IP address. It's logged.

In 6.2.1, is there a way to have the IP address included in the email I get when someone registers?

Yup - find the Wordlet and insert %%IP_ADDRESS%% where you'd like it to be.
