You might remember me from the UBB OpenTopic board.. we got our new board installed this week, and now that I'm happy with it running, and we have more than 12,000 page views in 4 days (which we're pleased about), and we've gone from 400 visitors a day to about 600, so we're very pleased we bought the upgrade.

But now that we know it's running beautifully, we need to start asking questions bout doing even more with it.

* I really want the nice quick reply window you have and some kind of on-the-board notification bout private messaging. I'd like to find the hack for more detailed board stats... where would I go to look for finished 6.3 modifications?

guvner gave me this link for the message notifications, but that hack says it needs the "Mod CP Addon" hack first, so where do I find this stuff?

* Is there any place to look and see what mods are coming down the pike for official board releases? Be kinda neat to see what ya'll have planned.

Thanks for everyone's help over at Infopop in getting our board running, and for answers (these and the ones I'm sure I'll think of later) here and elsewhere!

I'll play with the hacks this weekend, when I have more time to.

btw, we used a test board before upgrading... I understand if you make sure it's not publicly available, Infopop is okay if keep it. Would hiding it with an .htaccess on the cgi-bin folder it's in be enough to make that legal.

AFAIK, it's okay unless users visit there, so I suggest you to choose an odd name that no one can guess, such as "/cgi-bin/testboard/of/quigonj/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi"
